Tree Care Woodchips
Tree Care Woodchips is produced by arborists chipping branches, leaves, needles and small trunks upon trimming or removal of problem trees, e.g. safety, firesmarting. It may contain a mix of spruce, pine, aspen, and a variety of ornamental species.
This material is fresh, and can have higher humidity content. It should be spread out promptly to less than 6'' thick. Leaving this product in a pile could trigger composting, potentially decreasing its value and developing a fire hazard.
Only available in unmeasured bulk loads of 2-6 cu yd in Zone A (within 50 km of downtown Whitehorse).
